Moto Back Home

Motorbike back home. New rear tyre. New battery. Reset to normal. Ready to go again. The bolt in the tyre taught me some lessons.

I now carry a tyre repair kit, CO2 cartridges, adapter and pliers. Although none of these would have helped with a hole the size that this bolt ripped, the motorcycle at least has a fair chance of being ridden home or to a dealer if the tyre is punctured by a nail or screw or similar.

The adventure is not always about the destination, but about the journey. Ready to go again.

The motorcycle tyre was replaced in Buxton which is a town in Derbyshire 30 miles north of my place. While the moto was in the shop I had a new battery installed because the previous one was over six years old. My thanks to Guy Allott Motorcycles of Buxton. You did well recovering the huge motorcycle in a VW Transporter.

New tyre. New battery. Motorbike as good as new.

Now to organise the next adventure.
