On Sunday morning we picked up the motorcycles from BMW Motorrad Rentals, BMW Pavilion, Cape Town. Danie is in charge there.
A BMW650 for Eddie and a BMW1200GSA for me.
The paperwork has been completed and the bikes handed over.
It's time to get started on this biking trip. "Thanks Danie. See you in four weeks."
Wayne, of Atlantic Motorrad, had kindly volunteered to 'ease' us into this moto adventure with a Sunday morning ride around the Cape Peninsular. Here we are having breakfast at Darios Cafe, Hout Bay.

This is Muizenberg. There was not time to take any more pics on Day 1. We had a good ride and an excellent introduction to the S.A roads and the unfamiliar bikes.
The ride took us via Kommetjie, Simonstown, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, Boyes Drive and then Bloubergrand where we were staying for the night with Wayne and Jess.
