Moto S.A. Heathrow Express.

Let's get the party started. Heathrow Express from Paddington.The planning and preparation have been done. The Flights and the motorbike organised. Cashpassport Card fixed up with Travelex. Passport still valid.

I am meeting my son Eddie at the airport. We will be doing three days riding together - that's all the time he can manage - then dad will be heading off on his own for four weeks.

OK - let's GO!!

Anyone for a Spin?

As soon as the snow and ice melts and there is some traction we will be back on two wheels. Four wheels move the body. Two wheels move the soul.

The temperature here is about +2-degrees Celsius today (see AccuWeather.com in the margin >>>).

In South Africa the temperature is in the 30s I believe. In two weeks or thereabouts it will be heat and dust for me. I'll let you know which conditions are preferable when (if) I return to the land of snow & ice.

We went to Essex

Son Eddie (pictured) & I did a mini-tour of Essex recently - to have a look. We discovered that Essex is beautiful. We will definitely be going back again sometime.



We are riding a BMW1150GSADV and a HONDA CBF500.

BUT IT IS SOUTH AFRICA NEXT FOR US. Watch this space.

Ride Out to Lincolnshire

On the Ferry Home

Unfortunately we had to head for home. Here we are on the 'car' deck.
